General Terms and Conditions
Rates
All rates in this tariff are net, quoted in Euros and include taxes and
services. Rates for children 2-12 years are valid only when they are
sharing their parents' room as 3rd or 4th person. Unless otherwise stated,
hotel reservations for 1 or 2 nights' stay incur an extra charge of 10% of
tariff rates. Rates for hotels are per person per day. Rates for self-catering
accommodation are per unit per day and valid for a minimum stay of one
week. Transfer to self-catering accommodation on arrival is compulsory.
Rates must be re-confirmed.
Reservations
All reservations must be made in writing either by letter, e-mail or fax.
The agent/operator is to forward to the client or group a duplicated
voucher containing the exact number of persons and services
Method of payment
Services for groups: a deposit of 30% of the total cost of services upon
confirmation, full settlement of payment for all services is required 2
weeks before the arrival of each group. Services for individuals: for all
services, full advance payment is required upon confirmation of
reservation. Late bookings or services can be provided to your clients if
a bank remittance is transmitted to our company before departure date.
IMPORTANT: All payments must be made by bank draft or bank cheque, free of
bank expenses to us. Personal or company cheques are not acceptable. The
company reserves the right to cancel the arrangement or to refuse to
honour vouchers if the agreed payments do not reach us in time.
Cancellation fees
Unless otherwise stated, cancellations received at least 7 days for low/mid
season and 14 days for high season before the arrival date incur a
cancellation fee of 2 nights' full payment. Cancellations received after
confirmation of reservation but before the above period incur a
cancellation fee of 10 Euros per reservation file to cover administration
expenses. For "no show" clients all services will be charged in
full.
Complaints - Compensation
If clients have any complaints about the standard of services (transportation,
accommodation etc) they must report them to Omega Maritime Tavel Agency
during their stay in Greece, otherwise compensation will not be considered.
In case of hotels overbooking, Omega Maritime undertakes to arrange
accommodation in a hotel of the same or higher standard. Compensation in
these cases will not be considered by Omega Maritime s and should be
resolved between the clients and the hotel. Agents/operators should advise
their clients accordingly.
Liability
Omega Maritime Tavel Agency acts as an agent only. So for transportation
companies, hotels, apartments and other contractors declines
responsibility for any losses, damages, injuries, accidents, change or
cancellations of schedules, delays, strikes, acts of Government or other
irregularities caused or arising from circumstances beyond its control.
Service not mentioned in this
tariff
We are happy, upon request, to quote special rates for services not found
in this tariff such as programmes for incentives, conferences, weddings,
island hopping and conventions.
Special low rates
For hotels/apartments, transfers, private tours, round trips, boat trips
ets special low rates are available for "back to back" series of
groups and charter operators.
